I’m trying to elimate a creaky pedal I was tightening up my spd cleats and obviously overtightened... snappy the cleat plate nut that sits within the shoe in two. It looks like half of this now
The spd cleat only needs two bolts, which I still have, but obviously the surface area in contact with the shoe is about half?
I’m thinking this’ll be fine for a bodge until I can get a replacement next week? Got the first group ride of 2021 tomorrow and I’d rather not miss it!
