I need a replacement right hand Shimano 5700 10 Speed Shifter as the internals of my current one is worn.

Apart from eBay is there anywhere else I should look?

Or does anyone have one or a pair they would like to sell?

What's the symptoms?

Good chance it can be revived with a very liberal application of spray lube

No my LBS has advised the groove inside has widened with use and now it's not able to be as precise when selecting gears.

Hence the need to replace.

That’s fair enough. If you can’t find any second hand then Tiagra 4700 shifters are pretty much the same thing.

You might want to check the Shimano compatibility chart.

Iirc 4700 use a different pull ratio to other 10-speed shifters.

Yea don't do that then!

It's the 4600 that are compatible, but they're discontinued too.

Yep 6700 (Ultegra), 5700 (105) and 4600 (Tiagra) all now discontinued.

I've got a brand new Shinano 105 Flight Deck 10 speed rear shifter that I'd consider selling if it's of use. It's the grey metallic/pewter 105 colour.

I think the 'Flight Deck' model appears to be the Shimano 105 10 Speed "5600' rather than the '5700'.

Yes, it's the 5600 model so if that's not compatible with what you need then fair enough. I'll probably hold onto this because I'm sure the minute I sell it, the existing part on my bike will break...

This guy is selling a pair, the LH is broken but the RH appears to be ok?

Maybe worth a try?

I think new internals from SJS cycles linked above might be your best bet. Actually tempted to buy a set of bits for mine to keep as spares seeing how difficult it is to get hold of replacements.

Nice one, no problem- SJS is a goldmine for bike bits
