You will see in my topics I ask about a lot of bikes, I seem to want them all.

But me and a pall have been looking for a sub 2k gravel.

I have 2 in mind. The Planet X holdsworth
https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CBHOLMYSFOR1/holdswo...

Or boardman ADV9.0

https://www.halfords.com/bikes/road-bikes/boardman...

Out of the two what would you get

Cant add much as never had a gravel bike before but have just bought a Mystique as linked. Had one in stock which had been returned and had a very slight mark on the one fork. Reduced by £200 and was available straight away, ordered Sunday and received on Tuesday. Only a quick ride around the block so far so can’t really comment on ride but got a medium and I’m 5’11” and fits great.

Personally having just built up a kinesis aithien , I would have a look at one of there frames , mines been nothing short of excellent since I’ve built it , and you can build it how you like , don’t be put of by the aluminium frame it’s better than a lot of carbon .

Out with a friend on a slightly older ADV recently, I used to think Boardman a bit unimpressive as a brand, but liked the look of it! That spec is decent and think reviews have been great. Aren't they impossible to get ahold of though?

Know nothing about the Holdsworth, but the chunky down tube makes it look a little ebikey.

Neighbour of mine is responsible for the Holdsworth design so got a good look at the prototype, and have to say it is a well put together bike, and I'd have one if I was after a gravel bike

They’re both pretty good, the Boardman is always recommended in this price range too.

Only thing against the Holdsworth is the legendary Planet X customer service hehe
