I am looking for a decent set of all mountain wheels for my old Santa Cruz Nomad. Struggling to find anything online. Anyone any ideas where I can look please?

My Highball 29er has a set of Enve with Chris King hubs and would love something similar for the Nomad. I keep thinking I should upgrade to 27.5 but I still enjoy this bike and it has never let down so would rather but the cash into this.

Also a good excuse for a picture of the old girl.

Agreed, I clicked on the topic as I'm intrigued by carbon MTB 26" wheels as well but now I've opened a new tab on pinkbike to start looking at Santa Cruz Nomads!!

Something like this?

https://www.lightbicycle.com/enduro-downhill-mtb-2...

What do you want to improve over your flows? Consider the limited tyre choice from anyone other than Continental too.

Thanks Gribs, I did find that site but it is in the US. I am looking to lower the weight a little and will probably switch back to a Hans Dampf tyre to help with that.

Also what do you mean by limited tyre choice?

It's not that bad for 26" tyres yet, Chainreaction still offer over 100 different types.

I realise there are many more "new" tyre deaigns options available in 65b/29 but feel it's not at the point of it influencing upgrade options yet.

To be honest most places still have a decent selection of 26 tyres.

Decent dual ply tyres are very hard to find, and in the rest compound/sidewall choice is limited. Other than Conti most of the choice seems to be tyres that have hung around unsold.

Lightbicycle is a Chinese company - you can change the currency to GBP or EUR in the header.
They are a well known company, so you can order with confidence (I bought a set of wheels from them last year)
