Anyone have any suggestions for decent cycling shoes that don't use a cleat? I've purchased a mountain bike and dont fancy using my clipless pedals on it

I have an old pair of Specialised Taho's, but they don't seem to sell them anymore.

I'm after something that can be used on standard bicycle pedals but still has a stiff sole.

I'm a size 13 btw, which does seem to affect choice.

Thanks.

Edited to add size.

A size what? smile

Anyway, I use five ten freeriders. They stealth rubber is super sticky and, with the right pedals will be as secure as clipless.

Five Ten all the way.

The rubber is simply amazing, and the soles are plenty stiff with good flats. Only problem with trainery style shoes is when the group leader always finds a stream/river to cross they get very wet. More so than XC race shoes which just seam to drain quickly.
