Travelling to Gran Canaria - Which COVID test?

Will a NHS NEGATIVE test confirmation email be sufficient to be allowed entry into Spain/Gran Canaria?

I hearing about needing PCR certificate with all these clinics charging stupid money (I even have doubts about the validity of these test because I feel it's a real money making scheme) but surely a email confirmation from the NHS with my name on it be suffient and more credible?

Would appreciate if even who has travelled recently and been ok with the NHS email.
