I'm looking to store 3 bikes vertically up against a wall. Can anybody recommend me a good quality product please?
Thanks

GearHooks are pretty good https://gearhooks.com/collections/gearhooks-bike-h...

Not as cheap as the one above though.

Worth getting some helicopter tape or something to put on the wall where the wheels touch. I used bathroom pain for my bike alcove and even with that it’s proving tough to keep it clean from the stains from the tyres.

These are the same as the Amazon ones linked above

https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/TOJOSWMBH/jobsworth-...

Planet X pricing is a bit like dfs. They are 3.99 each (3 for £10) but they have been as low as £1.99. Might be worth checking back on Friday see if they are even lower

The Planet X ones are cheaper than the Amazon ones now! Except £6.99 postage so that rules them out..
Amazon seller has hiked the price to £12.99 for 2

Wiggle sell a hook that comes with a nice rear wheel bit too, but at 30 quid a pop it felt like a sledgehammer to crack a walnut, reckon heli tape, or even screwing a thin bit of ply on there does the job. Or leave it like I have and accept its a bike storage area that will get a little dirty :-)

I’ve got six bikes, and a few wheels, stored like this...

The two hanging on the wall are hanging on one of these...

And the other four are hanging on a Topeak Two-Up which is part-storage, part-maintenance rack. Fully adjustable for height and top tube angles - and bikes stick out less from the wall. It’s also not actually attached to anything so is fully portable. Great bit of kit.

The arms on mine move which makes them a PITA to use, I take it they’re not meant to?

I went for these and they arrived this morning.

I'm pretty crap at DIY so....how do I figure out the correct height to install these?

My plan is to have the rear tyre sitting on the floor rather than the whole bike hanging from the hook.

Thanks

They kind of work by the backwheel resting on the wall, it isn't then pure vertical load on the front wheel, if that makes sense...

I bought 4 from amazon, they were folded in flat when they arrived, is there a way of locking them open so to speak?

Thanks.
So are you saying that the rear wheel needs to be off the ground? Or can it be on the ground and leaning on the wall?

Mine weren't folded flat. I did gently try to see if they moved and they didn't.
I'll try a little harder when I get a moment
