The youtube videos are hilarious. If you lift push the bike back (loading the springs) then lift the bike up, tada! the wheel spins back round a bit as the springs return! Magic!

I find it very difficult to believe that Cycling Weekly would publish this. Is it an advertorial?

I also have some magic beans for sale.

I think they get the ridiculousnes off it - note at the bottom it says "We have requested a SuperWheel to test and will report back.".

I suspect they have been sent the PR bumpf from the company and are playing along with it.

A few years ago I tried to start my own clothing company, but in the end I couldn't make it work.

I went along to a few local "entrepreneur evenings" to see what I could learn, and there were a few people that it was worth meeting. There was some kind of grant available, which would have helped us get off the ground, so I went along to see what the chat was.

Some old boy had bought into one of those fuel catalyst scams, and was trying to get it off the ground. I asked few questions like "why aren't airlines using it if it offers fuel savings" and the like. He probably believes the earth is flat now. You can't get something for nothing.

This thread was a real 'WTF' moment for me.

I'm trying to decide if the perpetrators are deluded or scammers.

Utter Freaking Nonsense.
