Hi, just purchases a pair of assioma duo power meter pedals and begining to think I've wasted some money over buying the uno.

There appears to be no way to download and analyse the data from each pedal, and all the apps I've looked at just present the overall power.

Anyone know if I'm doing something wrong or if I really have wasted £200?

Data recorded via a wahoo elemnt bolt

Sounds like you've got them set to Unified instead of Dual Channel.

Having them set to unified channel doesn't mean only one pedal reads, it just means that only one pedal communicates with the app (it communicates the data from both pedals). Mine are set to unified channel but I get dual pedal data when I look at my rides on the Wahoo app.

Do the Wahoo head units support (record) Cycling Dynamics?

I know my Edge 800 doesn't, so I don't get all the bells & whistles from my Assioma Duos.

More on CD and which bits the Assioma's do here:

Ok Ive sorted it.

The split pedal data is showing on the wahoo data and in the wahoo app, but none of the regular apps (trainerroad strava etc) show it.

Guess I'll have to use the wahoo app for my power analysis

Honestly, I would suggest that the value in a dual side meter is that it actually records all the power you generate (which is not likely to be perfectly split 50/50), where a single side measures one side and doubles it, and is therefore likely quite inaccurate.

I've not come across anyone credible who actually thinks it matters if there are differences between L/R, or really actions them.

Post back op I have a weak right leg, so want to focus on that, so it will be useful for me

Fair enough - the one exception that is usually called out is that it can be useful for rehab!

It won't show up on Strava but with either the wahoo element app or Garmin connect you will be able to see the L/R split
