I need to bleed my SRAM Codes as managed to suck in some air after a small leak following a crash. Can anybody recommend a bleed kit. SRAM one is the obvious choice but £££'s and wondering if any of the cheaper ones as good enough. thanks

I bought one of the Epic kits https://epicbleedsolutions.com/products/sram-bleed... when I built my last bike in May. Read a few reviews about the kit and gave it a try, just followed the instructions and it was all good.

Thanks. i was looking at the Epic kits but had read quite a bit about leakage. Any real issues with that?

I used one of their kits back in summer and found that it worked perfectly despite it being my first time bleeding brakes. No issues since either.

The trick is to ensure that the tubes and syringes are kept as straight as possible. When the syringes fill with fluid and get weighted down, the pipes can bend and at the joint to the syringe, air can get in. But just keep everything set up and as straight as poss then they work a treat.

Used the Epic kit without any issues or leakage. Worked a treat. I have no trouble recommending.
