RockShox Monarch RT - self service?

My rear shock is holding air pressure, but can't hold my weight? It's pumped up to the max PSI @ 350, but bottoms out with any weight on it.

Not sure what is wrong with it, it's about 18 month old and had about 50 hours on it. Never been serviced.

Anyone done this before? I called 3 local LBS today - none wanted to help.

Easy enough to do yourself. Even rockshox front forks are easy to service yourself. Be good practice for next time and to keep the shock running pukka

Good place to begin though, have you considered taking this opportunity to tell your other half the bike is completely broken and you have no other option but to buy a new bike?
