Some riders were incredibly fortunate this morning. I was out for a morning run when I saw an old lady inexplicably manage to drive the wrong way around a totally blind large roundabout round my way. I know a lot of fast cars speed around this so I was waiting for a horrific crash. The driver managed to find an exit just as a group of 6 or so riders came powering past in the other direction at about 30mph - 5 seconds earlier and it would have been total carnage for sure.

In retrospect the presence of the riders in a group probably prevented any car driver taking this at about 50-60mph.

Hopefully someone reported her number plate to the police... sounds like she needs a chat from them about whether she should still be driving.
