hi all,

for one reason or another i've not touched my road bike in about 6mths. it's been stored on its tyres, which have deflated and mishapen at the bottom - i'm guessing all the gel/goo has collected there?

Are they saveable or do I need to replace or at least remove/inspect/remount? I don't fancy pumping them up, having them appear ok only to fail on me whilst riding. They're mounted on carbon tubeless clinchers if that makes any difference.

Remove tyres, clean old sealant out and fill with new sealant.

Stans sealant say "a good preventative maintenance schedule for most riders is to check/refresh your sealant quarterly (every three months)."

Stans would say that.
