Le tour Graphics ....
Discussion
started to watch le tourr on and off last year and really enjoyed it, but know very little about teams etc.
This year i have been watching frmo day 1 and still enjoying it - still have very little dea of whats going on, but working it out as i go, however for the life of me i can't understand some of the graphics..
i've googled and failed ... so can anyone point in the right direction ?
i understand the stop watch, but for instance why are there 2 yellow jerseys with <--> under them ?
thanks

Not sure what you mean. The banners on the tv?
Normally shows distance to go from leading rider then the gaps <—-> to the others in the race the inclusion of a yellow, green or polka dot jersey indicates the group that they are in. If the group has none of them then it’s named after the highest placed rider
Hope that helps

I just grabbed a quick still from ITV:
First graphic means the front of the race (in this case a breakaway) has 39km left to the finish of the stage. There is then a gap of 1 min 7 seconds to the group (in this case the peleton) which is where the yellow jersey holder is. As mentioned above, if there are multiple groups on the road, the group will be identified by the jersey in it or the name of a rider with the time gap between each group.
One thing to note is the time gap on the screen can be widely inaccurate, so take it with a pinch of salt.
