Oh dear, its done it again :(

Was chasing a creak again. Started looking at the cassette as that was creaking under load last week. So took the wheel out and cassette was still tight. Checked the QR skewer , all super tight ( screw in DT Swiss type)
Then looked up and saw this on the seat tube
It is jagged under magnification and you can catch your fingernail in it. Think its about 1400 miles since I swopped the old frame that cracked around the front of the top tube with this warranty replacement about 3 months ago.
So, lets see how I get on this time round !
Still fancy an Ibis , but a/ no one has any b/ I am skint c/ I am 50 on Thursday and will be roading or single speeding for the future rides ................ Such is life

Oof! Not still using that aftermarket seat post I hope...
I was up to a couple of weeks ago and then stuck the original post back in. Thomson are one of the best , but I had doubts on this frame then. The welding isnt as good as the first one. Then started getting creaks and stripped everything again. Pedals, converted BB30 to HT2 BB, found cassette could have been tighter and then it loosened again, so done really tight, which is why I was checking again tonight , that it hadnt loosened again. Is what it is. I have emailed the bike shop now, so we will see what their response is Wife says I dont have a frame coming for my birthday
Warranty info now sent again, but potentially if I get a replacement, i will sell it before I use it. I use the word potentially , as the replacement hopefully will be an Ibis DV9 , but struggling to find a frame anywhere. So, anyone know of one, let me know. Also the lefty conversion kit seems also out of stock, to use it on the frame. May be a long term project now ..............Potentially is up there , as if I cant get anything, I may have no option to use the new frame , if they warrant it.
Its hard work riding a 160mm all mountain bike cross country currently , but still have something to ride.
