Cannondale App

Has anyone got this https://www.cannondale.com/en-us/app to work properly? https://apps.apple.com/us/app/cannondale/id1446758... The bike came with a wheel mounted 'speed sensor' and the app is supposed to track rides and usage. A bit like the on-board servicing computer in cars.

I can't even register the app and it gets a slating in reviews. I don't really need it with the Garmin stuff I've got but I'd like to have a play; I'm intrigued about what it does and why Cannondale seems to have got it so wrong!
