Bit of an odd one and not really that pedal powered but bear with me

I bought a 15MPH limited e-scooter & it came with a Dashel helmet that retails for £80

I already have a Giro snowboarding helmet that cost £200 and is very solid & comfy

Is there any reason why I should use the Dashel one rather than my snowbaording one? I'm only concerned with safety as I only do extremely short runs on the scooter - just need it for getting back from the pub over some bridleways etc.

The bike helmet will have been type approved for road vehicle use and designed for that, whereas the snowboarding helmet will have been designed for and met different standards, so may not provide the same level of protection.

The snowboarding lid will almost certainly meet the road lid standard, and exceed it, in order to be sold as a skiing lid. In answer to your post, the skiing lid should be absolutely fine.
