Wheel bearing dust covers

My eldest has managed to destroy a wheel bearing dust cover on his little brothers bicycle. I thought these would be easy to replace, but I cannot find them anywhere.

Does anyone know where you can buy these? Outer diameter circa 28mm.

Usually you only get new seals with a new hub, or as part of a rebuild kit if the hub is pukka enough to have a rebuild option. They can be tricky to find separately.

I would try asking one of the mechanics at your LBC - if they are the helpful sort and have one on the shelf they may help you out.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. You are right, very tricky.
In the end I fabricated one, and it did the job perfectly - the lad redeemed himself by working on it and doing a good job (after destroying the original like in a rare moment of dunder-headedness)
