Hi everyone,

With vo2 max efforts at 120%FTP, should you stick to 120% as an upper limit to get as many reps as possible, or push the power up towards 125%-130% and potentially reduce the number reps?

Depends how closely 120% FTP correlates to VO2 max for you and what you are trying to train

There are other variables you can control of course: interval duration, rest duration, number of intervals in a block, rest between blocks, number of blocks.

Also, if you are doing a lot of VO2 max stuff, you can mix it up a bit.
