Has anyone bought a bike from Certini bikes who run the Specialized Concept Stores.

"Certini is now 5 stores and 3 locations strong. Based in Plymouth, Bristol and now Birmingham, operating our own Certini Stores and the Specialized Concept Stores of the South West and the Midlands. We now have a strong family based business which is still offering today that very passion and enthusiasm in getting you the very best products that the cycle industry has to offer".

I'm interested as they often have good offers.

I bought a bike from them 6 weeks ago, they are local to me in Plymouth but I had to go to the bristol store to try a bike for size, they are very busy at the mo and the stores are click and collect only i think. To busy to get my bike in for its free first service. I know several people that have used them pre covid and always been fine to use.

Bought a frameset from them - 1k less than some other retailers and even £400 odd less than new ones on eBay. Quick delivery, no issues...

They (Bristol) warrantied a Stumpjumper frame for me a few years ago that I’d bought 2nd hand and had no proof of purchase other than it was clearly less than 18 months old because of the model - it was given a new swing arm and new bearings no problem.
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.

I bought a saddle from them a few weeks ago, was listed in stock at their Plymouth store, turns out it wasn’t so they emailed and offered an upgrade to the next model up (alloy to Ti rails) at no extra cost (£20 difference). Good company.

I got an Ultegra R8000 groupset and a load of other bits from them just as we went into lockdown.

Clearly struggling with the situation, but between the guy dealing with me remotely who was working from home, and another chap in the store they were sent out from, they bent over backwards to give me a first class service. Considerably cheaper than elsewhere too

Would recommend them 100%
