My new bike has disc brakes and the is a very high pitched squeal that happens when the wheel turns either when riding or just spinning. It doesn't happen when I am applying the brakes.

I thought as it was new they just needed bedding in but it seems to be getting worse. Do I need to clean anything or do some adjusting?

This is common. The callipers are probably out of alignment. Release the bolts holding the calliper to the frame. Squeeze the brakes and hold them on. Then tighten the bolts, whilst holding the brakes on.

As Brundan says above, but first I would spin the wheel and check if the disc is central in the pads. Sometimes hubs settle in and being tightened can cause the hub to move a little and need a tweek to realign.

Cheers. I will give it a go in the morning, this is my first bike with disc brakes and after messing around with v brakes for the last 10 years I guess I need to learn from scratch.
