Looking at a better fan, like the idea of the headwind remote ability as well as smart tech (and 30mph breeze).

....but not sure how noisy it is at full chat? Having just made my turbo session near silent via a Wahoo KICKR Bike, I don't want to add noise needlessly!

Any experience?

TIA!

Mine actually turned up earlier this week, so I've only done one session with it, however I'm very impressed so far - my previous setup was using a 20" floor fan, as well as a 16" wall mounted fan when it was hot, whereas with the Headwind the narrow focus of the air means that it seems far more effective than running both of the other fans. When I used it the other day, I found I didn't even need to turn the power all the way up and was still cool enough.

It is far quieter than either of my other fans, although is obviously still very audible when running at higher speeds, although I found I could hear the TV much more easily than with my previous fans.

I've got mine propped up a bit so it is pointing straight at my face, which works for me (I'm using it with a Tacx Neo 2T), and haven't bothered with the HR control yet, as figure I would rather just adjust the fan speed from the app to how I want it to be.

Despite it being a bit pricy for a fan, I am very happy with my purchase.

A cheaper alternative is the Cleva vacmaster airmover.
I've never needed it above setting number 1, even when I was indoors during the heatwave the other week.

It's really quiet too

I have the Cleva Air mover too (trainerroad10 to get 10% off).

This thread convinced me: https://www.trainerroad.com/forum/t/uk-users-looki...

I have a smart plug connected so I can switch it on by command when I start to heat up.

I have had one for about a year - at full blast it's not silent - but it's not really noisy either.

The only smart feature I use is turning it on with my phone when I forget - runs at about 75% and I just leave it - easily achievable with a regular fan and a smart plug.

looks good with the desk / climb etc though
