Bike recommendation for a 7 Yr old and adult bike question
Discussion
Hi, I have couple fo bike questions if someone can help please. Sorry if these are silly questions..
1. My 7 Yr old has leaned bicycle few months ago. She's enjoying using it and I need to get a new one for her. I was looking at frog 55 but it's quite expensive. Even in ebay they sell for around £200 plus. Is there "one level down" from frog bike but bit better than cheapest at halfords. From what I know frog bike's main advantage is its lighter making it easier/enjoyable.
2. I was after a unisex bike that me and wife can use. Nothing special, just a standard hybrid bike. Looking at 17in bikes, wheel size is 27.5inch which seems quite big. Is this huge wheel as standard size or just what halfords have.
Thanks

Personally I'd just bite the bullet with a secondhand Frog. My kids have been through loads and with some careful buying and selling they are depreciation free - 2 of them have sold for more than we initially paid.
They're cheaper than Isla Bikes and much better than the cheaper heavier stuff you can get. Cheap heavy stuff is ok on the flat, but once you start going up hills it makes life so much more difficult for the kids.
