Not used yet but just bought a couple of these which are very popular: https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/elite-custom-r...
They're about as light as you're going to realistically get. It's one accessory where I don't think you'll see the benefit of spending 2 or 3 times more than what these cost.

I like the Elite ones but find the rubber bit loses tension after a few years, I've lost a couple of bottle recently, oddly only ever from the seat tube mounted cage. One bottle got stuck between the wheel and the chain stay and resulted in a nice sticky leg for the rest of the ride where sports drink exploded all over me
I've got Lezyne Flow cages on my MTB and they seem more secure although harder to get the bottle in/out.

Fidock bottles. They're brilliant. Can survive a DH jump run without falling off, and the mount is almost invisible when you have no bottle on, so more aero for the roadies than a traditional cage when empty.
I’m running the new fidlock 590 on my enduro bike, love that there is no cage when the bottle is off. So far have done some pretty rough trails and jumping and it hasn’t moved...I got some Tune Wasserträger cages a couple of years ago on my first Dogma. Comically light:
They hold bottles very tight, too tight for bigger bottle.
My F10 came with the Carbon MOST cages, not quite as light, but probably better all round and they are a bit sturdier and easier to key Bidons in and out of.

A normal cage only weighs 60g... just saying.
If you have more money than sense like me and want to save 37g on your bling bike then these work ok:

I needed cages, got those more because of how they looked, and at the time they were €19, less than the RXLs If you have more money than sense like me and want to save 37g on your bling bike then these work ok:

Mind you, the Elite Custom cages also hold onto bottles really well. If I'm spending real money and not "podium points" then the Elite cages is where I want to be.
I do have a "side entry" cage on my Full sus MTB, simply because I'm a shorty and there'd be no space in the frame to get a bottle in/out of a conventional cage. That is black metal and came from Halfords.
Conventional bent/welded wire cages? I've had so many snap a weld that I don't rate them anymore. Although I would have them on my retro bike(s) for the aesthetic. They're cheap enough that when they break you aren't heartbroken when you open your wallet to replace them.
I think I'm guilty of overthinking the bottle cage thing?
