Need a new jersey for the English summer 18-30 degrees C. Any recommendations?

Any recommendations for brands other than Castelli? 99% of my kit is Castelli, mostly bought due to the quality and recommendations/reviews. But i'm beginning to feel somewhat of a fat Castelli catalogue model

I am used to Castelli sizing and temperature charts now so can easily buy blind from wiggle. But, obviously due to COVID, it's no longer possible to try things on or 'give them a rub' quite so easily.

Checked Rapha site, as it's a British brand and we have to support our troops, but it seems they don't carry the temperature charts and there is oddities around their jersey's like missing grip tape on arms etc. etc. which i am used to.

Spelling fixed.

You should be able to find something you like at Rapha. I wouldn't be concerned about the finish on the sleeves of the core jersey - I haven't got this model but Rapha gear I have is well cut and drapes well. The gripper on the sleeves looks up to the job. Depending on how hot you run (I keep going in merino and arm/knee warmers until it is above about 16 degrees) the core or lightweight core would seem reasonable choices.

I've bought a couple of summer jerseys from Le Col

Really good gear for hot weather riding well made and comfortable, but unless you are in shape they will not flatter you - even the basic lines are very snug fitting.

Thank you. Le Col will not flatter me.

I've just noticed that my spelling was abysmal in the previous post, and that spell check is also disabled..

You want Lighweight or Flyweight from Rapha for warm temps. That's the Pro Team Flyweight. So most fitted style, and lightest fabric.

Other cuts available in the same/similar fabric

Rapha size guides are pretty good and they're fine with returns (I don't work for them - just my experience)

Basic lines are not as aero/sporty.

Gone for this, but not in baby blue.

Rapha, 7Mesh, Assos and Santini all worth a look IMO.

I've been buying stolen goat jerseys, I find them really nice quality and fit is good on me (albeit 6ft/11stone). Quite funky styles too

Santini Jerseys from Prendas Ciclismo, but only because I like the Retro Jersey designs.

Try www.Torm.cc

Sportwool, so good temperature range, like Rapha, be less price premium. Accurate size on website

Also try Endura for more technical fabrics, or Foska for whacky designs

Lusso. Designed and made in Manchester.

I love it. I've got 2 jerseys and have just replaced my castelli bib shorts with their DRS bibs.

I was the same as the OP, my wardrobe was starting to look more like a Castelli warehouse, recently I've been trying Ale Jerseys, the quality is just as good, and the the material feels completely different, somewhat tight but stretch, the jerseys worked a great at the top of the Alps last September when it was up in the 30's

chpt3 is castelli by another name I suppose, but they have some less common patterns

some of the recent giordana stuff is better quality than I expected it to be

I find myself drawn back to assos time and time again

I keep meaning to try some Assos stuff. Quality is great and I like the designs. Just haven’t got round to it yet.

Mainly because is seem to be keeping Rapha in business lately hehe

Another vote for Lusso here. Great shorts, base layers...basically they do everything. They even offer a repair service for damaged clothing!
Being made in Manchester is good too. Went to the factory once. Reminds me of the clothing factory in Coronation Street!

+1 for Santini.

Based on their reaction to CV19 they are also a company that I feel happy buying from.

And another. Just received my carbon v2 bib shorts, and they're deeply impressive. Will be spending plenty with them!

Ale are my favourite.
I've got a couple that are super thin and almost mesh.
Quality wise is comparable to Castelli and the fit is about the same too.
