Anyone managed to paint their own Full Face Bike Helmet and get a good result?
Only asking because my daughter wears a full face helmet for DH MTB but no one sells any in girly colours. So she asked if I could paint one for her. From what I read I need some Polystyrene Primer and use only Acrylic paints?
The helmet I am using as a base has a ABS shell

As far as I'm aware painting an abs helmet is not a good idea.
There are some more "girlie" colours available in DH MTB helmets if you look for them
You can refine by gender and colour on some websites like chain reaction.
There are a good many female DH riders about and plenty of kit to suit if they don't want the same colours as the boys.
