This is the second one I've seen, how many traps out there, very disconcerting really why cyclists being targeted?

Because a minority of you get annoyed when Pamela pops to the shops in her micra, or the off roady cyclists shout at people walking their dogs to move out of there way, so your all getting tarred with the same brush.

well there was one green lane targeted they put a steel wire across, luckily it didn't kill him.

There is a video of some middle class old women leaving branches across a path and chucking the bikers bag away, very nasty stuff really as it is people like this doing the bad stuff not chavs.

can't say that I care much either way for cyclists - there are some real aholes on 2 wheels. This setting of traps however is twisted, as for the head-high wire - that's evil. Hope that the idiots involved are caught

That didn't take long.

Lots on 4, too....

It's almost as if you can be an ahole no matter what your method of transportation is.

Or you blatantly go through a red light in front of a queue of car drivers, and me in my van, and make me wonder why you think stopping at a red light is optional for cyclists.

The first was in a local Sunderland paper in 2017.

And the second one was in Colorado in 2016.

Yeah, those are both totally justifiable reasons for laying this kind of thing, aren't they?

Ffs. Trolling or not, have a word with yourselves.

Yeah, saw this today actually near a supermarket...except it was a van driver ignoring a red light because he felt it was optional. Bloody van drivers. Best we lay traps for all of them, what do you think? I mean, it's obvious they are all the same, right?

Yes recent from mountain bike forum on Facebook. Don't know if it was reported, I know the other one , big board with nails, recently, the police weren't interested.

Just remembered a taxi driver followed me through a light as i passed it, it turned to amber as i was passing the stop line, and he was around 3 seconds behind me. Another one to add to the list.

Not trolling, just annoyed the cyclist couldn't be bothered to wait a few seconds for the light to change.

People retell all manner of stuff on FB - bloody frustrating it is too. That being said knowing that there are nutters out there means, I guess, that at least you stand a chance of not being caught out frown
