Stock or lack of.........

Been looking around for cheapish entry into hybrid biking, really liking the look of a specialised Sirrus 2.0 / Sirrus X. However, no stock anywhere. Is this because demand has outstripped supply or changes in model year etc? Seems pretty much the same across the brands, very frustrating.

I think it's partly that manufactures have had trouble getting the components from China due to lockdown and the fact a lot of people have taken up cycling during the same period.

I want a Canyon but the estimated shipping date is November

Production will have stopped/slowed at most manufacturers. Shipping stock/components from abroad will have been affected similarly. And, demand will have increased quite sharply with people wanting to make the most of the UK lockdown.

It’s not surprising really.
