Ebike 250w crank bosch motor or 1000w chinese motor

Hi guys

Im think about a ebike for a bit of fun.

The 1000w setup are tempting, not road legal.

Bosch powered 250w bikes are less powerful, but the torque on these motors seem high.

with the 1000w chinese motors, i don't see many of them putting down the torque levels.


My question is, Bosch motors might be lower in W do they make it up in torque to some point, when comparing the 1000w to the 250w.

I seen a ebike carrera with 4500 miles on it, is that alot in bike terrms
