Apple Watch app for route guidance and recording ride?

Is there an Apple Watch app that supports route guidance during your ride as well as recording (in decent detail) the information from your ride?

I've been using Strava which records all the stats I could possibly want, but it seems you can only use it for route guidance if you take your phone with you, which is exactly what I don't want to do...

The Strava route planner seems brilliant, but didn't realise you needed the phone to be able to follow it whilst out which sort of defeats the object for me. I could get a handlebar mount for the phone but I'd rather not have the worry of the risk of losing/damaging the phone.

So, done a bit of digging and it seems what I want - the ability to create a route at the PC and then get turn by turn nav on my watch - doesn’t exist.

So that leads me down the road of either getting a specialist bike computer or mounting my iPhone on the bike and using Strava (presuming Strava on the phone will give you live navigation?)

Leaning towards the latter as I don’t want to shell out loads for a computer right now....just looking for some clarification that Strava does actually do what I want before I start looking into a mounting system.
