Cheap speed sensor- any good?

Hi,
As the entire stock of smart turbo’s seems to be sold, I’m going to take the Zwift plunge with my dumb trainer to at least have something to look at!
Research suggests I need a speed sensor to Bluetooth to my iPad and I don’t want to swap over the sensor from my main bike to the one in the turbo. So, to the question - does anyone have any experience of the cheapo sensors on Amazon etc? They under £20 compared to lots more for Garmin/Wahoo ones (which are mostly out of stock)
