I record my workouts on Wahoo fitness and when I stop the workout, it is set to automatically upload to Strava.

Except yesterday's didn't. I can see it in the fitness app history, and it shows as linked to strava, but I can't see it in Strava.

Any ideas?

the date is set wrong, pretty annoying when that happens.

you need to download the actual file off the wahoo, then change the date using the below tool, then find the ride on strava (with the old date) delete it, and then manual upload the new file.

BRILLIANT!

Thank you very much. Never did find the old file though!

Funnily enough exactly the same thing happened with my ride today, first time in ~3yrs of Wahoo use. I didn't realise it was the date thing, I ended up importing my ride into strava as a tcx file from ridewithgps (which had autouploaded from wahoo). When I did this it said something about being a duplicate ride but at least it now appears in my dashboard for today.

It's done it again today. This time I just imported the file. I don't know if Wahoo Fitness is failing to send, or Strava failing to take the file.
I'm running Wahoo Fitness on an Android system.

Of course, there's no point in just using the Strava phone app. since it no longer supports sensor uploads!

to fix this issue, turn off gps, turn it back on, and then sync the wahoo to wifi.

will reset the date back to normal.

I'm using the Wahoo Fitness app running on an andoid tablet. For 'indoor cycling' the GPS isn't used. The clock on the tablet appears to be OK using automatic synch. (ie NOT GPS)

I have obviously changed something, but I don't know what. Wahoo for the turbo trainer is the only thing the tablet gets used for!

it onyl happens when you turn off the GPS, so turn it on, get the date sorted then turn it off.

By the way, in case any wahoo users are unaware, there is a pretty active forum for problems/solutions/grumbles sharing here. Not sure if it covers the OP's problem though. You can opt to be notified of replies

I had to go through and re-enable strava segments, then it uploaded.

I see it is now a known issue according to the Google groups linked above.
