Has anyone used tyre slime/glue to any degree of success on punctures?
I only have a short commute of 7 miles or so and luckily no punctures so far, however wondering if it'd just be easier to carry a bottle of tyre glue just to quickly get myself going again, save faffing about changing the inner tube?
I currently carry a small gas canister inflator, spare inner tube, tyre levers etc so I can sort a puncture if required, just thinking it might be easier to just use the tyre slime instead to at least get me home?
Have used it on my car to get me out of trouble a few times (no space for a spare wheel) and its' worked fine - Not sure if the bicycle equivalent works well also.

I tend to run slime tubes all year round on my MTB. Around here there's loads of thorns and bits on the bridleways and the tubes seem to self seal really well.
Last time I swapped over to winter tyres, there were 6 or 7 thorns on the inside of the tyre and the inner tube was still up. Have had similar positive stories from mates who have gone the whole hog and have tubeless mtb's. I've also got tubeless on my road bike, but *touch wood* haven't had any punctures on the road.
