Is there an indoor cycling app which isnt serious?
Discussion
After gaining some additional christmas timber, I am considering picking up a road bike and smart turbo trainer of some description to burn off the blubber.
From initial research the apps seem way too serious for my needs, I just want some nice visuals while I pedal away for an hour 2-3 times a week, I don't want any community features or know what my power I am generating and for how long.
I guess what I am asking is there either a playstation version? or a numpty/amateur mode for some of the apps? if not I may as well scrap this idea, book two weeks in india, and go for the dysentery diet instead.

There's plenty of YouTube videos for you to cycle along to for free, e.g. Indoor Cycling Videos

What apps have you looked at? Zwift is the obvious one, and is only as serious as you want to be. There are casual group rides and more serious races.
I looked at Zwift, Supperfest, BKool, and Trainerroad, they all seemed to offer a wealth of features that I don't need. For example I am an anti social bugger at the best of times, so have no desire for any community features.option click said:
So don’t use them / switch off chat?
Or use Zwift offline - you wont even see any other riders on the road!
Didn't realise you could do that, might try it for the trial period and see how I get on, Just spotted a Cannondale road bike and Turbo trainer for £400 on facebook down the road from me that I am going to see tomorrow.Or use Zwift offline - you wont even see any other riders on the road!
