Cycleops Magnus alignment problem

I have the Cycleops Magnus wheel on trainer. This one has a yellow 'clutch' tension knob to get the roller/tyre pressure consistent.
My problem is that when the bike is on the trainer and everything is done up correctly, the roller axle is not parallel to the wheel axle and there is a resulting side force on the wheel.
I can't see any adjustment to correct this, and I wonder if is "They all do that". It's not a lot, but it isn't right and I know it's not doing the wheel any good.
Anyone else fixed this on this trainer, or experience of similar problems with other wheel on systems.ouvy
Oh and is there anyway of updating the firmware without Rouvy (for which you need a bloody subscription)
