Can anyone recommend a decent but not too expensive turbo trainer? Due to work I'm barely able to get out and my fitness is more the lowest it's been for a long time. If I can even just get to do a 30 min session a few evenings a week it should at least help keep my base fitness up.

The best one is one that you use frequently and regularly enough to make the cost per use low

For me that means a smart one coupled with training software to make the ride a bit more interesting

£180 at Halfords is about the start of it https://www.halfords.com/cycling/turbo-trainers/tr...

Would help to know a bit more;

Do you want to be able to use Zwift etc? If so you're better off with a 'smart' trainer.

You can spend anywhere from 50 to 1600 on a trainer - what's your idea of expensive?

As JPs reply - the Tacx Flow is currently 180 at Halfords and will be more than enough for getting going.
