Rapha Festive 500 - 2019

Couldn't find a thread for this years Rapha 500 challenge so started a new one!

Anyone looking to complete the challenge this year?

For those that don't know, its a challenge to cycle 500km between christmas eve and new years eve, all out door and can not be completed on an indoor trainer.

I have started planning routes, but weather is looking a bit hit and miss. Went out on a recce ride today, but cut it short as I got soaked, and it was freezing!

Yes I'm going for it this year....and the Met Office have just issued a yellow weather warning for tomorrow. Joy!

I’m in Yorkshire. First couple of days look wet, but then drys out and cools off. Just hope it’s nkt icy! That’s the only thing that will stop me!
