I'm going to try some of the blue gel padded cycling shorts to try to make my enduro bike more comfortable, but I'm confused by the sizes.

They give the waist of the medium as 52cm (20.5") this is either tiny if it's diameter although the pictures show it's the width which would be huge at 41"

If it is the diameter and they are very stretchy then it's not much use.

Has anyone bought them ?

The width could be 41cm. 82cm total works out to be 32" roughly.

No they give the width to be 52cm for the medium

I've read up and everyone says to go up a size as they are Chinese sizing but 52cm makes no sense

Scrolling through some more ads I've found the answer !

Size:M, Relax Waist:52cm, Limit Waist:94cm

So they stretch from 52cm to 94cm (20.5" - 37") that's stretchy !

I normally wear XXL clothes, but looking at the sizes on those shorts, I went for XL and they were too big, L would have been plenty big enough. I didn't get on with them, didn't like the feeling at all.

I would just go and buy something from Wiggle or CRC. Saves you a load of grief if you don't like the look or fit. I have been there, done that and wasted some money on import Chinese made clothing from Ali-express and Ebay.

Not really it's just as easy to return via ebay although for £7 I CBA

They are just an attempt to soften my KTM seat as 6hrs on green lanes causes some bruising
