I'm certain there must be a thread on this, so apologies, if I'm restarting something.

I used to use the Strava app to record my ride, and then upload to Strava when finished.

Strava are removing compatibility with connected devices from their own app. So the app on your phone will no longer record cadence, speed or HR from a bluetooth or ANT+ device. This is due to the connected devices causing instability with the Strava app, and they are unable to fix it.

Strava's recommendation for those who want to use a phone is to use Wahoo fitness app or similar, rather than their own app. This is both IOS and Android.

Seems mad to me that Wahoo can do it, but Strava can't. I preferred the Strava app on the phone, but will now have to use Wahoo.

Would you not just record using the Wahoo app and set it up to automatically upload the results to Strava?

No different, surely, to me using my Garmin watch and/or Edge computer which then syncs the data to Strava for me to view there.
