Anyone got any opinions on these as kids bikes?
Any good or style over substance?

My little boy has a Belter 16 and it's a lovely little thing - shallow, but much better looking than the equivalent Isla Bike. He seems to love it and is getting faster and faster on it.
The finish is lovely and it weighs very little. The only criticism I have is that the pedals were rubbish. Even for a first pedal bike there was no grip so I popped on some Wellgo KC-01's which appear to be loads better. It's also had a few red Hope bits added because he loves red.
The belt drive seems like a nice tough - no oily chain for inquisitive fingers to fiddle with or to catch trousers etc.
Only downside is that he appears to be growing out of it quicker than anticipated.

Thanks both!
I think I’m sold on them, but I take your point that they do grow out of things quickly and they are priced at the higher end of the kids bike spectrum!
I will man maths that by saying it will have enough value to make it worth selling on when he out grows it!
Second hand values do seem pretty strong which does help. I think I’m sold on them, but I take your point that they do grow out of things quickly and they are priced at the higher end of the kids bike spectrum!
