Brompton dustless brake pads
Discussion
Hi All,
I am looking at replacing the pads on my Brompton (2016 model). Its still on the factory "Fibrax" pads, which are ok but leave a right mess when its wet.
Any suggestions for pads that leave less dust/muck? Ideally some inserts to go into the factory cages, but I'd also consider new pads altogether, as long as they fit with no modifications (the Brompton being quite fiddly to work on).
On a related note, whilst I'm here, any reccomendations for a good mechanic in London (central, north, NW)? I'd like to give a go at an independent bike shop as opposed to the usual retail chains (even though I have 4x bike chain shops within 100m of my work!).
Thanks in advance

Thanks, I've never seen cork or leather pads. Where can I find them?
Do the BXP pads leave less dust? I hardly brake much as it is, so don't require more stopping power really, just want something so that I don't have to wipe that sticky black residue off the rims every time it rains...
