I’ve sold some wheels on eBay and have tried to use Hermes to send them but the wheel box is larger than the maximum they will take.

Any suggestions who to use?

I’ve found Parcelforce pretty decent in the past.

Most recent was a used Zipp 303 going over to N.Ireland, fully insured on 48hr was about £18 iirc.

£18! They only sold for £23 plus £6 postage based on an online courier quote biggrin

I May well be refunding the buyer and relisting.

This! I use UPS and avoid parcelforce like the plague but cost is always around £15.

I sold 4 20" wheels and posted them out individually with DPD for about £10 each.

I also sold a 20" wheel and tyre. I couldn't find anyway of posting that for under £50 as the additional size meant all the normal options were negated.

I told the purchaser that I was struggling and was considering refunding. He took a drive and came to collect instead. We plit the cost of the postage so he got the wheel cheaper and I got rid of it! smile

I've always just taken the hit if I get postage wrong - the buyer has won it and is entiled to their item at the price listed.

You might find it cheaper to send as two packages perhaps?

https://www.parcel2go.com/ and https://www.parcelmonkey.co.uk let you put in dimensions as well as weight and see which services will take it.

Just make sure you document the dimensions with photographic evidence of the actual parcels, in case the courier that actually takes them decides they're over-size and tries to charge you double.....
