After doggedly sticking to hardtail 26ers, have bitten the bullet and bought a 2019 650b rig with Fox 34s up front and a Fox evol at the back (150mm and 140 travel respectively).
Bike is 2x11 XT, which will be enough to get used to after old school 3x so pointers on suspension much appreciated.

The stem looks awfully short to me and as for the dropper... confused

I find the best thing is to experiment. Set the sag around 25% and go ride it. Change the pressures and ride the same bit again. Make changes based on feel and how much the travel you are using. Look up how volume spacers change the progression.

Thanks for the reply. Is sag measured with a rider weight on-board or just bike weight? On a motorcycle it would be the latter but can imagine that might not work on an MTB...
