My new commute will be Euston to roughly Cannon Street station. Google maps says Eversholt street towards Holborn, then A40 to St Pauls and down to cannon street.

Anybody know what this route is like on a bike? i.e. am I going to die? Or better options?

As with all riding in C London, the dangers are jay walking peds staring at their phones and idiots on Boris Bikes.

Dealing with vehicles like lorries/taxis/cars just need that bit of common sense to make sure that you don't come a cropper.

i would say look at your route on google maps so you know what to expect. Try not to ride to fast/be in a hurry/keep a cadance up and take it easy.

Check out what Cycle superhighways and quiet ways run near this route. Might be a bit longer but would make for a more pleasant ride.

I used to do that route - Riding down High Holborn is pretty good as it's wide and has a bus lane, the worst bit was the last stretch on Newgate St. as bus drivers don't give a fk and will literally drive into you. Once you get the Cheapside it gets a bit better again.
