I see Evans have the levers and front / rear derailleur in their sale. At about £400 all in I was tempted but what I can’t tell is how much all the extras I’ll need will be.

So can anyone help with a ball park price for the battery / junction box /!wires / tools l would need ?

Suspect it’s likely to push the overall price up too much and make me change my mind....but worth an ask.

Thanks

Approx:
Bar end jct £70 (cheaper if using old stem jct)
Battery £90-100
Internal Jct £20
6 x wires at avg £18
Battery Charger £75

+ cost of installing it if not doing it yourself. Depending on the bike you may need some specific parts for it like battery holders and grommets which you may or may not have already.

Thanks very much - the extras adds quite a lot to the price of the base hardware so think I will stick with mechanical for now !

If you shop around hard you can save a fair bit off this - I recently built up a bike and ended up buying stuff over a couple of months from Wiggle, Ribble, Amazon and a RD from Facebook Marketplace. The prices jump all over the place, eg. I paid £11.99 for 300mm wires from Wiggle, but they are £17.99 today.
