29s just feel to big and awkward. If your 6ft 6" + then they might be fine but at 6ft it's 27.5s for me.
And there's only one correct colour for orange bikes smile I went for a P7, love it.

The orange clockwork is lower spec, I've looked at the p7 which one you got ?

It's just a P7 S couldn't justify the extra for an evo. Had it when they first re-launched the P7s in fizzy orange.
It's pretty heavy at around 13kg so i just think of it as leg training when heading up hill, but point it downhill and it's comically planted for a hardtail. Within minutes of trying it i was heading down tracks i wouldn't have dared try on my older Canyon - Grand Canyon.

I'd be on the 29er personally, it's a hardtail, designed for fast and smooth...

27.5 for me, but I’m a dinosaur who still likes 26.

Depends entirely on what you ride. More towards the XC side, I’d probably say 29, but if your riding involves a bit of bike park style stuff or you need a more agile bike then 27.5.

so we dont think the 27 is getting replaced by the 29 ? in general as if it is i'd just spend the extra 100 quid and get 29's just not sure if big. My only mountain is a 26 never had bigger. Its annoying as the difference between the two is very little, making me uhmm and ahh

More like the opposite. Back in my day was all 26s, then 29s appeared yep they role better but at the expense of agility. Then someone thought I know lets go for a middle ground and 27.5s took over.

If your used to 26s then I'd seriously suggest trying a 29 before buying. My orange P7 27.5 is absolutely massive compared to my 26. It only just fits on my Thule bike rack (roof mount) with the wheel straps moved right out to the ends.
