Morning all,

Not sure what's happened here, with moving house I'd not been out on the bike in a while, turned my Garmin on and there was a firmware update which took a few times to verify but everything seemed to work OK.

With the move I had to create a few new routes from the house so did the usual on one of the websites, created a route, downloaded the GPX and imported to the Garmin. The snag is when I load the route I get the line for the road, but that's pretty much it, there's no mapping displayed just a line and the turns. So I could be going down a road and previously I would see the map displayed and see I needed to take the 3rd turn on the left, now I just have a line with a left hand kink, so I'm unable to tell if it's the 1st, 2nd or 3rd turn if that makes sense?

If I don't load a route and just ride I see the full map?

Have you downloaded .gpx or .TCX files? GPX give the full map.

GPX, maybe it's the website I am using then?

Like I say I just get a line and no map at all, you can follow the line which I have but there is no map to verify whether it's a turn or a bend in the road.
