I had a really good days riding today on a well organised event , ( apart from getting in the car park this morning) , couple of pretty brutal hills in there also ! Great to meet some really friendly people on the way round .

What time? We stood at the end of our drive at the start of white leaf with iced water Incase anyone wanted a top up.

I liked the sign at the bottom “climb ahead” no kidding!!!! Looked like a few were suffering. I live here and hate the bd as well as Kop hill and wardrobe

Hope you were ok.

Yes pretty tough climbs , I am not used to that type of hill not in my neck of the woods , but I made it up them all without pushing my bike up there ! Yes a few were struggling but not surprising really .

The Chilterns one? If so, yes. Was lumper and steeper than I expected. Glad we sailed past Bison Hill as that road is too narrow and busy for this event. Roads weren't in great condition and some steep descents were a bit tricky.

Feed stations were much better than the French Etapes. Route was well signposted except one roundabout where a few misread the sign and went straight on instead of first exit. Nice to see some spectator support too.

The event village was decent too. We are and drank after the ride while watching the TdF on the big screen.

Yep myself my GF and a couple of mates did it. Medium route.

My GF was having a bad day so we bailed at the short route split before white leaf meaning we did about 57 miles.

Riding in the children's is always tough as it doesn't ever seem flat you just go up or down constantly which is very draining.

I've done Kop Hill a couple of times, since I go to uni in Oxford.

Real bugger to get up, lots of fun coming down.
