Di2 Battery

I have a 2014 Ultegra 10 speed Di2 on my Canyon CF SLX and I am finding that I am finding that the battery is flat when I check the night before a ride. I’m about to get the battery changed for a new one but does anybody think I need to check anything else first?

5 years is a pretty decent lifespan for a battery I think. Not unlikely for it to be the cause. If you're using the wireless transmitter (I forget what Shimano call it) you may find that accelerates the drain quite a lot. It was slashing my battery life by 40% so I ditched it from my setup.
