Was planning to but not sure. We live less than a mile from the route (Sudbury), it really appeals and am also now planning a solo trip from home to North Wales in August - that’s 240 miles across two days so this would be a good warm up.

Only thing is, I have absolutely nil experience of night cycling..

I'm doing it this year! Planning on seeing how I feel at the end but might turn round and ride back to the start at the end.

I haven't done the ride, but have done solo night rides. It's brilliant at first, especially out in the country - although the slightest noise can spook you. A tiny bird moving in the hedge can sound like a rabid wolf coming after you! I find with proper dark rides 2 hours is about all I can do, you get a kind of tunnel vision where you just look at the spot of bright light ahead of you, and I really miss looking around and taking in the sights. I guess on a big ride like the Dynamo those two problems won't be as bad; you'll be able to ride with some people some of the time, if not the whole way.
